Quilt Block
For years, quilters throughout Utah have been sharing their unique talents by designing, creating, and lovingly donating their beautiful quilts to be sold at the Festival of Trees. We invite you to be a part of this wonderful fundraising event by sharing your creative talents.
Quilts featured in the "Quilt Block" will be sold by silent auction (along with trees, wreaths, centerpieces, gingerbread houses, and outdoor playhouses). Those not auctioned will be available for purchase in the Gift Boutique. Sizes range from king, queen, twin, baby, and wall hangings - all in a variety of colors. Quilts for auction must have a sleeve on the back for display purposes.
Registering Your Quilt
- Quilt registrations must be submitted by November 1, 2011
- Upon submission of your online registration, you will receive a confirmation by email. If you do not receive an email confirmation after submitting registration, contact Valerie Cutrer, 801.571.5975 801.808.1366, or email festivalquilts@gmail.com.
- Specify the size of your quilt to reserve an appropriate amount of space.
- If you are unable to fulfill this commitment, please notify Valerie Cutrer so all spaces may be utilized.

Things to Remember When Planning Your Quilt
- All sizes of quilts are welcome. Please make sure the workmanship is of highest quality. Quilts may be hand or machine quilted.
- Name your quilt. A card with all of the information will be included with your registration forms.
- To receive a taz receipt, bring all receipts associated with your donation when turning in your quilt.
- Quilts must be turned in at Primary Children's Medical Center on Saturday, November 5 or Saturday, November 19, 2011 between 10:30 a.m. until 12:00 noon in the north lobby. You may send it with a Board Member or deliver it personally. If you have any questions or concerns about delivery, please contact Valerie Cutrer, 801.571.5975 or 801.808.1366.
- All quilts become the property of Festival of Trees and will be priced and sold as such. due to space limitations, your quilt may be sold in an area of the Festival of Trees other than the Quilt Block.
- You are invited to attend the Decorator's Workshop Open House on Saturday, October 8, from 10:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. at Primary Children's Medical Center.
Opening Night
- Upon receipt of your quilt, you will receive one Opening Night invitation for Tuesday, November 29, at 8:00 p.m., OR two thank you tickets to the Festival to be used any day Wednesday through Saturday, November 30 - December 3.
- Each Opening Night invitation will admit two adults.
- Babies and children under the age of 16 will NOT be admitted on Opening Night.
- After Decorating Day, Opening Night tickets cannot be exchanged for admittance into the Festival later in the week.
- If you wish to attend the 5:00 p.m. bidding portion of Opening Night, you must purchase a bid number by calling Primary Children's Medical Center Foundation, 801.662.5966.
Upon receipt, all quilts become the property of Festival of Trees.
